Changes to lodgement of Family visas from 1 July 2018
Partner and Prospective Marriage visas (Subclasses 820,801,309,100,300) can only be lodged via ImmiAcount
Parent visas (Subclasses 103,804,173,143,884,864) applications must be sent by post or courier service to the Perth Visa and Citizenship Office.
Other family visas will need to be sent by post or courier service to the Perth Visa and Citizenship Office. The overseas offices will no longer receive applications for these visas. Included visas: carer (Subclasses 116,836), Remaining Relative (Subclasses 115, 835), Aged Dependent Relative (Subclasses 114,838)

457 visa abolished
457 Visa was abolished and replaced by the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS).
Two main streams are available under the new TSS visa program:
Short-term stream – this is for employers to source genuine temporary overseas skilled workers in occupations included on the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL)1 for a maximum of two years (or up to four years if an international trade obligation applies)
Medium-term stream – this is for employers to source highly skilled overseas workers to fill medium-term critical skills in occupations included on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL)1 for up to four years, with eligibility to apply for permanent residence after three years
